What are Faery?

Faery are magical creatures who hail from the Place of Stars, where all magic comes from. They are summoned by the tides of fate to use their magic to help their friend- from remembering to practice self-love, to bring the luck of a good rest, or to gain courage. Each Faery’s magic is unique, and thus each Faery’s purpose is unique.

Which one will bring you magic?

Okay, but what are they really?

They’re a mix of good luck charms and cute collectable art, inspired by blind bags, Neopets, trading cards (specifically Bella Sara), and tarot. Each is wholly unique, with its own design and well-wishes. No Faery is the same, and you are the sole friend (owner) of yours. Upon purchase, your name will be credited on your Faery's page, showing all to see who is the Faery's dearest friend.

This site is both a directory and artist statement of Faery.

How do I befriend one?

You will find them in my ko-fi shop. NOTE PUT KOFI LINK Place your order, and a Faery chosen by fate will come your way (you will receive a Faery in the mail).

Your Faery’s page will be updated with the name you include with your order, crediting you as their friend forever. If there is any errors or the Faery finds a new friend to help, feel free to contact me on any of my socials or email charliearletbusiness@gmail.com.

Why Faery?

With Faery, I wanted to try something new and refreshing in my art. I’ve always been fond of little magical creatures, and with Faery I can turn off my mind and create a few lovely little buddies.

In addition, the funds from Faery will go towards funding my top surgery. It’ll cover copays (therapist for mental health letter, doctor visits, etc), surgery costs, and items for recovery.

I initially came up with this idea when NFTs blew up. Fuck NFTs. Get real art and support independent artists.
